POSTER APPLICATION

The NEANN virtual poster session at the 2021 Annual Conference provides an opportunity for nurses in any role (staff, education, administration, etc.) — as well as nurse practitioners and nursing students — to present projects and/or scholarly work relevant to the NICU. 

Posters will be peer reviewed by a subcommittee of NEANN members. Please review the poster requirements below, then click the button at the bottom of the page to submit a poster application.

Due Date for Application Submission:  April 1, 2021

Notification of Acceptance:  April 15, 2021

 

Requirements:

  • Posters must be relevant to the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU)
  • One presenter should be available to attend NEANN’s annual conference to showcase and dialogue with conference attendees during a designated poster session. One additional co-presenter is allowed.
  • Contact hours will be awarded to event registrants for participating in the poster session, so please provide three (3) goals/objectives as “take aways” when viewing your poster.
  • Each poster author will need to complete Sections 1, 2 and 3 of a Conflict of Interest Form. The form(s) must be submitted with the application for each individual author/co-author.

 

Poster Topic Suggestions:

  • Quality improvement initiatives (in progress or completed)
  • Evidence-based practice projects (in progress or completed)
  • Research projects (in progress or completed)
  • Education posters

Presentation:

  • The 2021 conference will feature virtual posters (on-screen) during a scheduled virtual poster session.
  • Posters will be evaluated during conference. An award will be presented for the best poster(s).
